Navajo patients undergo aquatherapy treatment

TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 2003 About a dozen patients at the Northern Navajo Medical Center are making aqua-therapy a part of their treatment. Albert Todacheenieyie, 37, is one of them. With both knees injured, it helps him stay in shape. "Kicking for 10 minutes is equal to three miles of walking," he tells The Farmington Daily Times. "Plus you don't put weight on you knees and legs." The patients do their workouts at a pool in Shiprock, New Mexico. Get the Story:
