Tribal attorney appointed to SBA Indian post

THURSDAY, MAY 22, 2003 Thelma Stiffarm, a member of the Gros Ventre Tribe of Montana, was recently appointed assistant administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Native American Affairs. In the position, Stiffarm says she will help Indian Country access SBA programs. She also plans to reach out to tribal colleges and tribal leaders. Get the Story:
