School district's Indian coordinator retiring

After 23 years of service at the Native American Education Department of an Arizona school district, Anna Chana is retiring this summer.

Chana, a member of the Hopi Tribe, helped students from reservations adapt to Amphitheater Public Schools system. She provided tutoring, gave cultural presentations and helped students find educational, medical and social services.
