A memorial to the Indian warriors who fought at the Battle of Little Bighorn will be dedicated June 25, the 127th anniversary of the historic battle.

Colleen Cutschall, an Oglala-Sicangu Lakota artist, designed created the sculpture for the memorial. "Spirit Warriors" is a 35- by 12-foot metal piece featuring warriors on horses and a woman who symbolizes the women who helped during the 1876 battle.

The memorial was authorized by federal law in 1991.
