A federal judge in Wisconsin is scheduled to hold a hearing today on a challenge to new tribal casino compacts.

Gov. Jim Doyle (D) negotiated agreements that authorize new Class III games. Republicans contend this violates a constitutional ban on gaming.

Republicans want the suit to be heard in state court.
