Mi'kmaq fishermen in New Brunswick, Canada, are hosting a meeting to try and resolve a standoff over the snow crab fishery.

Non-Natives are boycotting the fishery because their quotas were reduced and it was opened to First Nations. which have treaty-backed fishing rights.

Last weekend, the non-Natives burned three boats assigned to the Big Cove First Nation and destroyed other property. The N.B. premier wants charges laid.
