Suit seeking to diminish reservation dismissed

FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2003 A federal judge in Minnesota dismissed a lawsuit seeking to diminish the Mille Lacs Ojibwe Reservation by 61,000 acres. County officials said the land was no longer Indian Country. But U.S. District Judge James Rosenbaum said the dispute wasn't valid. Get the Story:
