Informant in Alaska Native rape case gets break

An informant who testified in the unsuccessful prosecution of a man charged with the murder and rape of an Alaska Native woman was given a reduced sentence for his help on the case.

Last month, Joshua Wade was acquitted of killing Della Brown. Several witnesses for the prosecution had criminal records and were also charged with crimes. Included was Daniel Troxel, who has already spent more than two years in jail.
