The Department of Justice filed a response to a court investigator's report that alleged top officials concealed problems with a trust fund accounting system.

Special master Alan Balaran said the government's status updates were stripped of information that would have revealed the true status of the Trust Asset and Accounting Management System (TAAMS). But DOJ attorneys say his conclusion lacks evidence.
