Ralph Perdue Athabaskan leader dies

THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2003 Ralph Perdue, a founder of the Fairbanks Native Association, died Tuesday in Fairbanks, Alaska, at the age of 73. Perdue was a former president of the Tanana Chiefs Conference. He was a leader on Athabaskan and Alaska Native issues. Perdue recently received a legislative citation for his efforts. Get the Story:
