TUESDAY, APRIL 29, 2003 Indian Country Today runs a story citing an unnamed "aide" to Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colo.), chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. The aide says Campbell and Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) will "likely" introduce a resolution to urge settlement of the Individual Indian Money (IIM) class action. Who is the aide? Based on prior ICT stories on the issue, it would appear to be Paul Moorehead, Campbell's chief of staff. What's your guess? And why would Moorehead, or the aide, not speak for attribution when he, or the aide, has done so in the past? Get the Story:
