BIA's Martin has few answers for Navajo Nation

MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2003 Aurene Martin, the acting head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs spoke to the Navajo Nation council on Thursday. After her speech, Martin was asked a number of questions but had few answers, The Farmington Daily Times reported. When asked by council delegates about trust reform, reorganization education, health care, law enforcement and economic development, she said she would look into the matter. Get the Story:
