Pueblo signs law enforcement agreement with state

Acoma Pueblo and the state of New Mexico have signed an agreement that allows non-Indians accused of crimes committed at that tribe's casino to be prosecuted in state court.

Federal gaming law authorizes the shared jurisdiction. The memorandum of understanding between the tribe and the state lays out specific duties.
