At a council session on Tuesday, Navajo Nation delegates criticized President Joe Shirley Jr. and Vice President Frank Dayish Jr. for their performance

Delegates said Shirley has taken too long to appoint division directors. Some positions remain vacant more than 100 days into the administration, although the council has confirmed Arvin Trujillo, a holdover from the Kelsey Begaye presidency, as executive director of the Division of Natural Resources.

Delegates also accused his administration of not having a plan. One told Dayish: "I have seen your PowerPoint presentation. It's just a general outline with a lot of statistics," The Farmington Daily Times reported.
