Republicans in Arizona are threatening Governor Janet Napolitano (D) with retribution for getting Piestewa Peak named in honor of Lori Piestewa, the Hopi woman killed in action in Iraq.

GOP lawmakers said they may recall some of Napolitano's appointees to state boards and commissions. They cite pressure by Napolitano's chief of staff to influence the head of the state board on geographic names.

Napolitano said she regretted the "heavy-handed" approach her aide took, which was done without her knowledge.
