Federal judge won't intervene in Meskwaki dispute

A federal judge in Iowa dismissed a lawsuit regarding the Meskwaki Tribe's leadership.

The tribe's elected council asked the court to kick out a new council that was appointed by a traditional chief. But the judge said he has no jurisdiction over the matter.
