Another B.C. official accused of racism towards Natives

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2003 A First Nations leader in British Columbia is accusing province's minister of forests of insensitivity and racism. According to Carrier-Sekani Chief Mavis Erickson, Minister Mike de Jong suggested that Native leaders are "foolish and being led along by environmentalists." Erickson and other leaders have been protesting de Jong's new forest initiatives. Get the Story:
