John Herrington, a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma and the first tribal member to go into space, will speak at the 28th Annual Montana State University Indian Club Pow Wow and the Visions for Sustainable Tribal Communities Conference.

Herrington was a mission specialist on the recent Endeavour mission. He spent 14 days in space and went to the International Space Station.

Herrington will speak on Friday. The pow-wow runs Friday and Saturday.
