Research published this week in Nature reports that a species of dinosaur found on the island of Madagascar was a cannibal.

Researchers said they found fossils of the two-ton horned carnivore with scoring marks that could have only come from other Majungatholus atopus, which lived more than 65 million years ago. The dinosaur had strong teeth and probably ate adults that had died of other causes, according to researchers.
