Mont. gaming proposal killed by two votes

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2003 The Montana House voted 59-41 to kill a proposal that would have created a special entertainment and casino district. All six American Indian members of the House voted in favor of the HB757. Opponents said it would have allowed tribes to offer Class III gaming. Get the Story:
