MONDAY, MARCH 31, 2003 The Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) are asking to be exempted from gaming compacts approved by the Department of Interior and by Arizona voters. CRIT says it wasn't included in talks that led to the passage of Proposition 202 last fall. So the tribes want Gov. Janet Napolitano to renew their existing compact, which doesn't require revenue sharing with the state.
> Proposition 202 requires tribes to share casino revenues in exchange for expanded gambling. CRIT says it won't benefit from expanded gambling.
