THURSDAY, MARCH 27, 2003

Anti-gambling groups in Texas oppose a bill that would allow the Tigua Tribe of Texas to operate a Class III casino.

The tribe was forced to shut down most of its casino games because they were deemed in violation of state law. Opponents say the bill would make an illegal activity acceptable.
