Support grows for historic 'Trail of the Ancients'

THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 2003 Three Senators are seeking fast-track status for legislation to recognize the Trail of the Ancients as a National Historic Trail. The trail cuts through New Mexico and Utah. According to Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.), it documents historic Ute and Navajo sites. Sens. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) are supporting the proposal. Get the Story:
