Navajo Nation doesn't want to be left out

Left out of a multi-state agreement decades ago, the Navajo Nation is seeking a portion of water from the Colorado River.

The tribe filed suit in federal court to force Secretary of Interior Gale Norton to ensure that water is set aside for the tribe. The case could affect several states that also depend on the river.
