Tohono chairman on trial for solicitation

FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2003 Tohono O'odham Nation chairman Edward Manuel went on trial for allegedly soliciting a prostitute in an undercover sex sting. Manuel faces two counts of prostitution in an Arizona county court and is expected to testify in his own defense. After his arrest last October was made public last year, he refused calls to resign as chairman. Get the Story:
