Summit in Ariz. focuses on sacred site protection

MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2003

Indian activists and leaders from the Americas met in Arizona to discuss the protection of sacred sites.

The goal of Tlahtokan Aztlan is to develop a case to present to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. The body will meet in May.
