FRIDAY, MARCH 7, 2003 Water users in northern New Mexico are working to finalize an agreement to buy water from the Jicarilla Apache Nation. The San Juan Water Commission has an emergency water supply agreement with the tribe. The deal calls for the purchase of up to 4,000 acre-feet of water at $70 per acre-foot.
