Mont. tribe reinstates ousted police chief

The Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana has reinstated police chief Arthur Windy Boy, The Havre Daily News reports.

The tribal council voted 4-2, with two abstentions. Windy Boy was fired amidst an Bureau of Indian Affairs investigation into the tribe's police department.
