Nev. tribe to resume law enforcement duties

TUESDAY, MARCH 4, 2003 The Bureau of Indian Affairs is returning law enforcement duties to the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe of Nevada. The BIA had taken over the tribe's police department in June 2001. The tribe operates under a 638 self-determination contract. Get the Story:
