FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2003

The Navajo Nation is holding a Navajo Agricultural Products Industry meeting today.

NAPI is the tribe's agribusiness. The Farmington Daily Times says hot topics include NAPI's request for more water from the San Juan River, which comes as water for local farmers is to be cut back, and a 50 percent cut in federal funding to NAPI.
