Boys team wins Lakota knowledge tournament

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2003 An all-boys team from the Crazy Horse School in South Dakota won a Lakota knowledge tournament on Thursday. The Lakol Wounspe competition, held during the Lakota Nation Invitational, tests knowledge of Lakota language, culture and history. The boys defeated an all-girls team from St. Thomas More.
