FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2003 Representative Candice Miller (R-Michigan) introduced a bill to authorize a land swap and gaming compact between the ay Mills Indian Community and the state of Michigan. The tribe will drop claims to 100 acres in the Upper Peninsula in exchange for land elsewhere. The tribe plans to build a casino on the land. Get the Story:
