Paiute leader remembered for life's work

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2003 Geneal Anderson was remembered at her funeral on Thursday as a woman who advanced her tribe, educated youth and fought prejudice. Anderson, 51, served the Indian Peaks Band of the Paiute Tribe of Utah for 30 years. Tribal officials, friends and others said she dedicated her life to improving the quality of life for tribal members. Get the Story:
