Swimmer says he will be independent trustee

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee held a confirmation hearing for Ross Swimmer as Special Trustee for American Indians.

Swimmer is the third choice for the position, which is supposed to ensure that the broken Indian trust system is fixed. His two predecessors resigned under pressure.
