Bird disease found on Ariz. reservation

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2003 The Colorado River Reservation Arizona reported the state's first discovery of an infectious bird disease. About 100 chickens were killed to eradicate the highly contagious Exotic Newcastle Disease, which is deadly to birds but usually not harmful to humans. The disease has also been found in California and Nevada. Get the Story:
