Students at the University of Oklahoma in Norman have formed a community service group called the Green Corn Organization.

Senior Seneca Scott, his brother Bud and their friends chose the name "Green Corn" to symbolize renewal and unity. So far they have helped a local elementary school and participated in a rally with the Ponca Tribe. They plan to clean up the Caddo Nation's ceremonial grounds this spring.
