Obituary: Anderson Paiute tribal leader

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2003 Geneal Anderson, a former chairwoman of the Paiute Tribe of Utah, died on Friday. She was 51. Anderson was instrumental in restoring the tribe's status after it was terminated in the 1950s. She served in tribal politics for more than 30 years. Get the Story:
