The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing on Tuesday to focus on the Department of Interior's fiscal year 2004 budget request.

Secretary of Interior Gale Norton is scheduled to appear before the panel, which last year grilled her deputy, J. Steven Griles, about the trust fund. This year's budget requests more than $400 million for reform and historical accounting projects. The department as a whole has requested $10.7 billion.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
