Town leader objects to reservation toll booths

A town leader in southeastern Connecticut said state lawmakers first suggested putting tolls at roads leading to two reservations then decided it would be better to place them at the exits.

Either way, Preston First Selectman Bob Congdon told The Norwich Bulletin that the idea is a bad one. He said it will only exacerbate traffic problems at the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan casinos.
