Police in Minn. accused of brutality

THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 2003

Two unknown police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, have been accused of beating a homeless Indian man, urinating on him and leaving him and a woman companion out in the freezing cold.

Police said they will investigate the incident, which was reported by two people at a housing complex. Two off-duty officers who responded to a 911 call took the man and woman, who were reportedly intoxicated, to a hospital for treatment.
