Alaska Natives are concerned about some of Governor Frank Murkowski's agenda.

Three lawmakers, who are Alaska Native and represent rural areas, said Murkowski's plans to resolve the subsistence debate were vague. A proposal to restructure the fish and game department was questioned as potentially weakening the environment.

The lawmakers also said they have to make sure Murkowski lives up to campaign promises to reach out to Alaska Natives and improve rural police services.
