Okla. tribe has hopes for buffalo

MONDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2002 The Caddo Tribe of Oklahoma has big plans for its buffalo herd. The tribe currently owns seven buffalo calves with five more to join shortly. The goal is a 1,600-strong herd that will supply tribal members with meat and help the tribe become more self-reliant. Get the Story:
