Tribal land swap with state finalized

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2002 The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin has given final approval to a land swap with the state. The agreement divides 7,000 acres of a former Army site among the tribe, the state and a federal facility. The tribe will receive 1,600 acres of land at the site and will give up 75.8 acres elsewhere. Get the Story:
