McCaleb won't undergo more questioning
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2002 Attorneys for 500,000 Indian beneficiaries on Monday said they no longer needed to question outgoing Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb on his destruction of e-mail. Attorney Dennis Gingold was set to depose McCaleb on Wednesday. In a letter, he informed special master Alan Balaran, a court investigator, that he would not go forward. McCaleb testified before Balaran on December 6. He admitted he erased his e-mails but said he didn't intentionally set out to "destroy" them. Relevant Links:
