Conn. tribe recruits employees in Poland

MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2002 The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has recruited 100 Poland nationals to work at its casino. Poland has several casinos and experienced dealers. But the economy is not so great, a Mohegan casino executive said. The tribe also hired 50 Polish workers this past summer. More than 100 Polish students went to work for the neighboring Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation for summer jobs. Get the Story:
