Ex-IHS workers bought light bulbs

MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2002

Three former employees of the Indian Health Service in Montana pleaded guilty last week to using government credit cards to buy light bulbs.

The employees used the cards to buy thousands of dollars worth of equipment from a company based in North Dakota. They received kickbacks for steering money to West Lite Corp.

Gale G. Three Irons pleaded guilty to bribery while Keith E. Reece ad Arthur C. Alde pleaded guilty to wire fraud.
