Petition calls for apology to Indians

A South Dakota man is circulating a petition calling on the United States, through Congress, to apologize for the massacres of American Indians.

James White Calf said the government has apologized to everyone except Indians. He wants Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.), elected thanks to Indian votes, to take up the initiative.
