ANWR lobbying group loses partner

A lobbying group dedicated to opening up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling has lost one of its corporate sponsors.

BP Alaska will no longer pay $50,000 in annual dues or sit on the board of Arctic Power The company said it was a business decision to pull out not a reflection of its views on ANWR.

Arctic Power is also funded by Alaska taxpayer dollars.
