N.D. tribe makes military equipment

The Spirit Lake Nation of North Dakota owns a plant that manufactures components for military vehicles, weapons and headgear.

Sioux Manufacturing Corp. employs about 110 people. Another tribal company, Dakota Tribal Industries, makes tents and tarps for the military.
