Yakama Nation to join fish recovery board

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2002 The Yakama Nation of Washington plans to join efforts to recover threatened species of fish. The tribe and local governments are forming the Yakima Sub-Basin Fish and Wildlife Planing Board. The panel will develop a plan to meet state and federal requirements to protect steelhead and bull trout in the Yakima River. Get the Story:
